Minister with responsibility for sport Natalie Neita Headley receives a cheque in the amount of US$1.3 million from HK Mohan, chargé d’ affaires, High Commission of India, representing the final instalment of grant funding from the Indian Government for the Sabina Park Lighting Project. Floodlights are being installed at Sabina Park to allow for the playing of night matches. The cheque was handed over at a ceremony held at Jamaica House last Thursday. The total cost of the project is some US$2.7 millions of which the Indian Government has contributed US$2.1 million, with the balance being allocated from the Tourism Enhancement Fund.
