Jamaica Observer managing Director Danville Walker is doused with an igloo of ice-cold water as he bravely stands up to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at the newspaper’s Beechwood Avenue, Kingston head office yesterday. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which started in the United States, is a fundraising campaign to raise US$15 million for research on ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Walker was challenged to take the dousing by former Observer editor Al Edwards. Walker in turn challenged National Security Minister Peter Bunting, Commissioner of Customs Major Richard Reese and former contractor general Greg Christie to take the challenge.
