Jamaican philanthropist Pat Ramsay (second left) stands with Dr Kenny Anthony (second right), prime minister of St Lucia; St Lucian artist Llewelyn Zavier and his wife Christina at the launch of the Open Air Museum in London on September 10. Held at The Ivy Club, the launch featured the works of international sculptors, including Anish Kapoor. Zavier used the occasion to stage an auction, followed by a presentation on September 11 at the Royal Academy. The artist, whose work is mounted in the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, donated six of his works last year and asked Ramsay to auction them to two of her favourite charities. The work is from his environmental series so she donated one to the Jamaica Environment Trust.
