MONTEGO BAY, St James — Essential services were not affected by a power outage at the Sangster Airport which experienced two surges late this morning. Elizabeth Brown Scotton, chief commercial officer at MBJ, operators of the Sangster Airport, *told OBSERVER ONLINE that*the backup power supply was activated immediately after the two power surges between 11:00 am and 11:35am.
