Former President of the Senate Syringa Marshall-Burnett was yesterday hailed as a phenomenal woman who blazed a trail of glory in all that she had undertaken. The glowing tributes flowed as several Government officials, including Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, relatives, nurses, friends, and well-wishers paid their final respects to Marshall-Burnett during the official funeral at the University Chapel at the University of the West Indies, Mona, to celebrate her 79 years of life.
