PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC) — The Communications Workers Union (CWU) yesterday questioned the intention of the British telecommunications giant, Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) to pay US$1.85 billion for the privately owned Columbus International, a fibre-based telecoms company serving the Caribbean, Central America and Andean regions.
