The St Elizabeth Parish Council recently dedicated this mini-park on the sea front of St Elizabeth's capital, Black River, in memory of the late legendary mayor of the town, Josiah Adolphus George (JAG) Myers. The event formed part of Local Government Week. JAG Myers (PNP) will perhaps be best remembered as the longest-serving mayor of Black River and a passionate advocate of local government reform.
