The Media Association Jamaica Limited (MAJ), which represents media owners, has joined the Press Association of Jamaica, the professional organisation of journalists, in congratulating Desmond Allen, founding editor of the Jamaica Observer, for receiving the Order of Distinction (OD) in the 2014 National Honours and Awards.
