THE slow progress of the investigation into the death of 18-year-old Kingstonian Rashidi Samuda has irked Jamaica Observer online readers. In a story in this week's Sunday Observer, Samuda's mother Maureen Brown complained that although the police have a photo of a possible suspect, they are yet to make a breakthrough in the five-month-old case. Samuda died after he was was stabbed and robbed of his cellphone in Jones Town. His mother also complained of the poor treatment meted out to her at the Kingston Public Hospital where Samuda was taken. Here are some edited comments:
