Ronay Shirley (left), a student of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of the West Indies, Mona, in discussion with Vice Chancellor E Nigel Harris and Jessica Yap of the Jessica Yap Pass It On Foundation. Occasion was the presentation of a cheque valued at $890,000 by the foundation on Wednesday. Of the sum, approximately $650,000 will go towards Shirley's tuition and the remainder to that Charmaine Blake, another medical science student. The presentation took place at the university.
