The French flag flies at half-mast at the Embassy of France in Kingston yesterday as the country's ambassador to Jamaica Jean-Michel Despax holds a sign calling for press freedom, a day after 12 people were killed when gunmen invaded the offices of the satirical weekly magazine, Charlie Hebdo. The ambassador was earlier joined by the embassy's staff in expressing support for the French people.
