United States Ambassador-Designate to Jamaica Luis Moreno presents his credence letters, yesterday, to Foreign Minister Senator A J Nicholson at the foreign ministry in Kingston. Both men also had initial discussions on Jamaica/US relations, the recent shift in US policy concerning Cuba, and Jamaica's fiscal tightening efforts in collaboration with the International Monetary Fund. In addition, they discussed the upcoming January 26 high- level visit by Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller to Washington to participate in the Energy & Security Summit between the United States and the Caribbean to be hosted by the US vice-president.
