Zhang Baowen (second left), vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, is accompanied by an unidentified Chinese official (left) and China's Ambassador to Jamaica Dong Xiaojun (right) when he arrived at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, yesterday. Behind the ambassador is junior foreign minister Arnaldo Brown, who was among officials who met the Chinese official. Baowen who, immediately after his arrival, toured downtown Kingston, will today pay courtesy calls on the governor general, the prime minister, and leader of the Opposition. He will also attend a luncheon in his honour hosted by the Houses of Parliament.
