Scores of white-attired guests attending Saturday's inaugural staging of Le Dîner en Blanc Kingston at Emancipation Park release white balloons into the night sky, captured from the roof of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel. The gourmet picnic event, which was launched with just a handful of friends by François Pasquier over 25 years ago in Paris, is hosted in over 50 cities worldwide in public spaces including Paris, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Brazil, Kenya, Tel Aviv, Madrid, New York, was introduced in Jamaica by Brett Wong, Leisha Wong, Stephen Price and Imani Duncan-Price.
