This little girl, holding a sign condemning crimes taking place across the country, was among more than 200 youngsters from various schools and other organisations who marched through sections of Clarendon on Wednesday to call for an end to crimes being committed against children. Six young Clarendon residents are among the high number of children from across the island who have been killed this year. "We are tired of the killings, especially against the youth of this country," said Dei Rasi Frecklton, co-ordinator for Youth for Change -- one of many groups that participated in the march. Education Minister Ronald Thwaites, who was also at the event, called on parents to be more responsible and take greater care of their children. Other political representatives from the parish also participated. (PHOTO: LIONEL ROOKWOOD)
