KINGSTON, Jamaica – Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr Peter Phillips, today, announced that the Government of Jamaica (GOJ) and Noranda Bauxite Ltd (NBL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Noranda Aluminum Holding Corporation, entered into an interim agreement in relation to the dispute which has arisen regarding payments of bauxite production levy on Tuesday, June 9.
