Mayor Harris and Ambassador Ortega were among the guests hosted by the vessel's commander, Captain Gines Enrique Añanguren Santana (centre). The ship's call is part of activities commemorating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Jamaica and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The vessel and its personnel, comprising 173 students under the command of Captain Gines Enrique Añanguren Santana, joined in the celebration of Venezuela Day, yesterday. It will leave Jamaica on Wednesday.
