KINGSTON, Jamaica – Employees at the State-run National Irrigation Commission halted industrial action this morning as the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union (BITU) advised that it anticipates a positive response from Agriculture, Labour and Social Security Minister Derrick Kellier to a request for his urgent intervention on a number of outstanding matters at the commission.
