JAMAICA Observer online readers have reacted to the apology issued by National Security Minister Peter Bunting over his likening of the behaviour of the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party leadership to a set of John Crows. Bunting made the criticism, which has drawn wide condemnation from the public, while addressing supporters at a People's National Party meeting on Sunday. In his apology, made in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Bunting said his comments were "unnecessarily harsh". Here are some edited comments:
