EXECUTIVE Director of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) Ronald Jackson says that although the Caribbean is one of the most hazard-prone regions of the world, there are steps that can be taken to prevent the impacts from becoming disasters and thus minimise the level of human losses.
