Walter Scott (second left), district grand master of the District Grand Lodge of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, presents a cheque valued at $551,000 to Keith Sangster, chairman of the board of Wortley Home for Girls yesterday on behalf of the lodge. Sharing the occasion are Robert Forbes, district grand secretary of the lodge; Delores Bailey (centre), house manager; and Cheryl Kean, secretary of the board of the home. The donation will help the home recover from a fire that destroyed a section of the facility in June. The District Grand Lodge of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands is home to Freemasonry in Jamaica under the United Grand Lodge of England. (PHOTO: JOSEPH WELLINGTON)
