PRESIDENT of the Jamaica Gasolene Retailers Association (JGRA) Leonard Green says despite the gas tax that the Government implemented in March to help fund a hedge strategy against any sharp upward movements in petrol prices on the world market, the cost at the pumps have now climbed back to where they were prior to the levy.
