A student of the Liberty Learning Centre in Portland receives a poster, with information on the Blue and John Crow Mountains, from Minister of Youth and Culture Lisa Hanna during the National Heritage Week Church Service, held at the New Testament Assembly in Hope Bay Portland recently. The presentation of World Heritage posters and brochures to students of local schools was part of a wider public education effort to sensitise Jamaicans about the significance of the World Heritage inscription of the Blue and John Crow Mountains. The National Heritage Week Church Service is organised by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission annually to mark the beginning of the Heritage Week Celebrations.
