KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Road Safety Unit in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing on Monday reported a 37 per cent reduction in child fatalities since the start of the year. Statistics from the Unit reveal that as of November 23, 12 children have been killed in road crashes when compared to the corresponding period last year when 19 perished.
