JAMAICA Observer online readers have reacted to Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller’s declaration that her ruling People’s National Party will win the St Andrew East Rural seat in the next general election, regardless of who the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) fields. Simpson Miller made the comment Sunday night during a mass rally in Lucea, Hanover just days after news surfaced that Juliet Holness, wife of Opposition Leader Andrew Holness, will be contesting the seat for the JLP.
