THE Jamaica Debates Commission (JDC) last night says it cannot commit to organising the first in a series of political debates next Tuesday after the ruling People’s National Party (PNP) ignored a request from the commission to respond by 5:00 pm yesterday to reconsider its decision to not participate. In the press release, the JDC said the move was necessary as it would need three clear days to make preparations.
