With the smile that Joan Brown wears, it is hard for one to imagine that she has gone through so much pain and suffering. Almost five years ago Brown, who has since shed her acquired name of Llewellyn, was shot and seriously injured, and four family members including her parents and daughter killed in an early morning rampage by her husband, a policeman, who later turned the gun on himself in her home village of Three Hills, St Mary.
