Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart (right), chairman and founder of Sandals Resorts International, used the opportunity of his recent trip to London, to meet up with Levi Roots, British-Jamaican celebrity chef, reggae musician and television personality, who hosted the highly successful, Rum, Rhythm & Roots culinary holiday at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in January 2016. The week-long cooking adventure offered foodies an exclusive opportunity to learn how to cook authentic Jamaican cuisine from scratch, including Levi’s signature dish ‘Homestyle Jerk Chicken Wings’, with the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop. In addition to hosting two cooking master classes, Levi also accompanied guests to a local food market to discover the abundance of fresh produce available on the island and performed tracks from his latest album at a private gala dinner.
