Govt talking with Noranda; Opposition still against compromise*
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The government yesterday began talks with corporate representatives of the Noranda Jamaica Bauxite Partners which could possibly lead to an agreement to save the jobs of just over 400 employees at the company’s St Ann operation.
