KINGSTON, Jamaica – Thursday’s ceremonial opening of Parliament was highlighted by the delivery of the Throne Speech by Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen, which outlined the priority programmes and policies to be pursued by the Government during the new fiscal year. Some of the policies included fixed election dates and term limit for Prime Ministers.
