Barbados calls for modern laws to deal with illegal drugs trade
BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Barbados Director of Public Prosecution Charles Leacock yesterday called for a shift in the Caribbean’s anti-drugs policy, pointing to the need for more funding for treatment of drug users, even as authorities step up their efforts against drug traffickers.
