These two cops turned many heads as they travelled on a motorcycle in downtown Kingston, yesterday. The shortage of service vehicles has been a major challenge for the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) for several years. But the Government recently announced plans to spend some $400 million to address the situation. National Security Minister Robert Montague told the Jamaica Observer that the intention is to equip each of the island’s just over 170 police stations with at least two motor vehicles and a motorcycle.
