Pall-bearers carry the casket bearing the remains of former parliamentarian Dudley McKenley from the Webster Memorial Church after a funeral service yesterday. The service was attended by a team from the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), headed by Prime Minister Andrew Holness. McKenley, a brother of former Jamaican middle distance track icon Herb McKenley, died peacefully on July 16 at his home in Stony Hill, St Andrew. He was 91. He represented Clarendon South Central for the JLP from 1967 to 1972, and Clarendon South Western from 1980 to 1989. He was also an assistant island supervisor of Bustamante Industrial Trade Union (BITU) and worked in the Clarendon sugar belt. The BITU was represented at the funeral by Vice-President Alden Brown.
