Prime Minister Andrew Holness (left) presents the Lifetime Achievement Award for services to agricuture to permanent secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries Donovan Stanberry (right) at the Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show in May Pen, Clarendon, on Monday. Sharing in the moment is Jamaica Agricultural Society President Norman Grant. Stanberry entered the civil service in 1996 and has since served in several ministries and various capacities. Stanberry, who was also permanent secretary in the fomer Ministry of Agriculture, previously served as permanent secretary in the Ministry of Land and Environment; chief technical director in the Ministry of Water and Housing; senior director in the Ministry of Public Utilities and Transport; lecturer at the University of Technology Jamaica; and as senior economist at the Planning Institute of Jamaica. He has also served on several boards.
