Reverend Merrick ‘Al’ Miller was yesterday fined $1 million or 12 months in jail — a sentence that was greeted with shouts of “Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus,” from members of his flock grateful that he would not be imprisoned for perverting the course of justice.
