MONTREAL, Canada – Jamaica’s Alia Atkinson on Saturday powered to a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke at the Short Course World Swimming Championships in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.She created an upset for Amrican Lilly King, the Olympic champion, who was forced into second place ahead of another American, Molly Hannis, who finished third. Atkinson, the world record holder, finished in 1:03.03, with King just behind in 1:03.35, while Hannis clocked 1:03.89.
