Staff at the Renal Unit at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) were in a good mood Thursday when the department was presented with four 40-inch flat-screen televisions by the Kidney Support Foundation of Jamaica (KSFJ). The TVs, courtesy of Courts Jamaica, will be used in the unit from Mondays to Saturdays while end-stage renal failure patients are being dialysed. Errol Sinclair (second left) and Sean Lyn (fourth left) of the KSFJ made the presentation recently to Errol Greene (third left), CEO of the KPH. Sharing in the happy moment are Joan Taylor-Henry (left), acting department sister; Christine Russell (third right), nurse manager; Miriam McFarlane (second right), acting deputy director of nursing services at the KPH; and Dr Dominic Akalonu, director of the Renal Unit. The KSFJ also presented gift packages to staff members of the unit.
