The shouts of joy among the more than 50 students of the Brightly Beam Basic School in Montego Bay, St James, filled the air last Friday as team members from the Sandals resorts in the Montego Bay region (Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Inn) delivered special treats, inclusive of educational material, stationery and games to the students and teachers courtesy of the Sandals Foundation. This surprise, pre-Valentine’s Day treat was well received and teachers expressed their gratitude to the foundation for their continued support and partnership. The Sandals Foundation assists in a number of activities each year as part of their drive to improve literacy in the Caribbean while inspiring joy among children.
