Women in Energy 2017 participants in a celebratory mood on the second day of the March 9-10 conference at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston. Held under the theme ‘Doing Power Differently’, the conference was attended by more than 400 delegates from Jamaica, the Caribbean and North America. The event, which was staged for the second year by the women of Jamaica Public Service company, is designed to give women in the energy industry a platform to address global challenges and opportunities, as well as those encountered by women leaders in other industries that will foster their advancement professionally and personally. The line-up of speakers included a number of outstanding corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and development specialists.
