Jury told to consider self-defence in ‘death squad’ trial deliberation
Justice Jennifer Straw yesterday instructed the jury in the alleged “death squad” murder trial not to rule out the possibility that the two police officers who are on trial for murder were acting in self-defence, as they consider the verdict today in the Home Circuit Court.
