Mike Henry (left), minister of transport and mining and Member of Parliament for Clarendon Central, accepts a copy of the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) 2016 Human Development Report from the organisation’s resident representative, Bruno Pouezat, at the launch of the report on Tuesday at the Wembley Centre in Hayes, Clarendon. Henry has hailed the UNDP for earmarking a number of Clarendon communities for assistance. They will be receiving development support to lessen the impact of climate change, increase access to water supply, improve agricultural output, and upgrade educational institutions. Henry says the support from the UNDP will go a far way to uplift and build the communities along sustainable paths. (Photo: JIS)
