Members of the Filipino community in Jamaica recently honoured retired Consul General of The Phillippines in Jamaica, Everoy Chin (seated at centre) at an event in St Andrew. Businessman Chin left the diplomatic corps earlier this year after looking after Filipino interest in Jamaica for nine years. He first served as Honorary Consul and was promoted to Consul General three years ago. No replacement has been named as yet.
