PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti (CMC) — Taiwan is providing US$22 million to Haiti to fund two projects aimed at increasing the supply of rice seeds in the Artibonite Valley and in the rice plains of the North and North-East departments.Agriculture Minister Jobert C Angrand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bocchit Edmond, and Taiwan's Ambassador Tsai-Chiu Hwang signed a cooperation agreement for the execution of the two projects.
