CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank's Corporate Secretary/Legal Counsel Alison Rattray (left) and Velmore Lawrence (centre), general manager of FirstCaribbean Building Society, present Yulit Gordon, executive director of Jamaica Cancer Society (JCS), with a symbolic cheque in early December. The cheque represents the proceeds of the bank's first annual lapathon held at Emancipation Park in Kingston on September 30, 2012 when bank employees, families and friends walked 10 laps. Their monetary contributions were matched by the bank and donated to the JCS for its work in building awareness and providing treatment for cancer patients.
