Two months after the passage of Hurricane Sandy, some residents of Eastern Jamaica are still reeling from the effects of the disaster. Employees of the energy company, JPS, have stepped in to assist with a different kind of restoration effort. Members of staff collected more than $1 million, which was handed over recently to the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM).
