Jamaica Public Service (JPS) President and CEO Kelly Tomblin participates in the removal of branches cut from a tree that was threatening one of the company's power lines in Stony Hill, St Andrew, yesterday. Vegetation management forms part of a new programme that the light and power company has embarked on to improve reliability and power quality on the top five worst-performing feeders (distribution lines) in each parish. The other four areas being addressed are equipment upgrades, structural integrity (pole replacement), lightning mitigation, and grounding.
