Neville 'Teddy' McCook lived his life to the fullest. He was a sportsman for all of it, or at least for the many, many years that I knew him. Although he was not a member of Sportslife magazine's writing staff, I first met Teddy shortly after I met Foggy Burrowes in 1959, and shortly after I met Jimmy Carnegie, Errol Townsend, Billy Hall, and then Laurie Foster.
