Police killing almost one person per day - INDECOM reports 71 fatal shootings by cops

Seventy-one persons have been killed by the police so far this year at a rate of almost one each day. Figures released by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) show that up to last Friday, 53 incidents involving fatal shootings by members of the security forces had been reported over the 81 days since the start of the year.
