TWO weeks ago the relatives, friends, colleagues and past students of stalwart educator Muriel McLaverty-Ho-Yen gathered in Irish Town, St Andrew, to pay homage to this great Jamaican woman and acknowledged the stellar contribution made to national development and the lives of many ordinary Jamaicans during her blessed time on earth. Ho-Yen was interred after a thanksgiving service in Florida, USA in February. Life Tributes joins in hailing the work of Ho-Yen.
