Traffic was forced to detour off Barbican Road yesterday as National Water Commission (NWC) workmen dug a sewer line from the Natural Health Whole Food Store, opposite Lane Plaza in St Andrew. According to workmen, the road was cordoned off shortly after 9:00 am. They chose Sunday to carry out the work as it was believed that less vehicles used the thoroughfare on that day, said one workman.
